The intention of Painting Plants as an open source research project is to pass on our knowledge.
Firstly this happens on this website. Secondly through workshops (more information about the workshops here) and demonstrations for a public varying from interested artists to children in elementary or high school. When the garden is (more) complete, this can then be used for tours to give insight in the process from painting plant to dye.
Below you will find some pictures of a silk-screening workshop for children on the open day of the school garden Ridderbos. Using silk-screening bags were printed using natural dyes, such as indigo from woad.
